Updated: Mar 3

In the all forms are different column, the green verbs are where the past participle is taken from the present form of the verb, the blue verbs are similar to the green verbs, but the vowel in the present is a long vowel sound and past participle turns into a short vowel sound, the pink verbs are where the past participle form is taken from the past form of the verb the yellow verbs follow the i, a, u rule with the present having the (i) vowel, the past having the (a) vowel and the past participle having the (u) vowel, and the orange verbs have no rule at all.

In the Past and past participle are the same column the blue verbs change vowel sounds the yellow verbs change vowel sounds and ending sounds. The green verbs are where the vowel changes from the long vowel sound to the short vowel sound, in this column there are verbs formed like the blue and yellow groups. The pink verbs only change ending sounds and the red verbs have ´ough´or ´augh´ vowel sounds which both sound like ´ah´.

NOTE: sometimes when an old verb is used in a new way, this verb does not take the irregular past and past participle forms anymore, it now acts as a regular verb adding -ed at the end
